Overview
EchoPath is designed to help blind and visually impaired users navigate with greater confidence. Privacy is important to Riley Burrell Development, and EchoPath is designed to collect as little personal data as possible.
Data EchoPath uses
EchoPath uses precise location data to provide app functionality, including navigation, guidance, distance information and saved place features.
Location data
Precise location is used for navigation and app functionality. EchoPath does not use precise location for advertising or tracking purposes.
Data linked to you
EchoPath does not currently require user accounts or sign-in. Location data is not linked to your identity by Riley Burrell Development.
Saved places
If you save places in EchoPath, that information is intended to support app functionality. Saved places are used so the app can help you return to important locations.
Third-party services
EchoPath uses Apple technologies such as Core Location and MapKit to support navigation features. Apple may process data according to Apple's own privacy policies and system services.
Tracking and advertising
EchoPath does not use precise location for tracking. EchoPath does not currently display third-party advertising.
Children
EchoPath is not specifically directed at children. The app is designed as an accessibility and navigation tool.
